From the initial call from David I knew we had chosen the right place. So kind, caring, informative, honest and just all round amazing people. My daughter is very nervous and worried around new people. Today she surprised me. After an initial minute wobble, off she went for her assesment. She has done nothing but talk about how Armande was kind and patient and smiley. I as her mum felt at ease and was able to ask questions, didn’t feel judged, blamed or out of place. I cannot thank them enough and would highly recommend both Armande and David.

Our son first visited the Assessment Practice in 2023 for a dyslexia assessment that led to a dysgraphia diagnosis. Armande and David were so good at putting both our son and us at ease and gave us such helpful information following the diagnosis. When our son’s school suggested a year later that we pursue an ASD assessment, we came back to the Assessment Practice immediately when we saw this was a service they were now offering. In their information gathering phase, the Practice also identified that ADHD may be present too, and with their thoroughness and support we now have the full picture for our son and are able to advocate for the support he needs going forward. The whole team were very supportive and made what could’ve been a challenging experience for our son and us as positive as possible. We’re very grateful (and our son LOVED the animals!). Having ended up with THREE diagnoses for our very complex young lady, we can not thank and praise all the staff involved enough!

We initially contacted them about our concerns over Dyscalculia and ASD and the lack of support from EB’s schools (she is currently in Year 8 and nobody seemed to be taking us seriously!). David spent nearly an hour during our initial phone call listening and asking questions to clarify our situation before we entered the ‘triage’ stage.

We are so impressed by the professionalism, kindness and support we have received at all stages of our process.

With their amazing knowledge and guidance, EB can hopefully complete her education and move forward successfully in life, understanding herself better equipped in the knowledge of how to cope with not only her Dyscalculia, but also her ASD with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD).

I am one of the Doctors working with Armande. David and the team at The Assessment Practice. In my thirty plus years as a Paediatrician, I can truly say that I have never worked anywhere which cares more about the patients and clients than here. When I first visited I thought it was an unusual set up, being used to the hectic disarray of NHS hospitals, it is very clear that working as they do puts the children at ease and allows Doctors and other Clinicians to do their work in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
